All reading assessments will take roughly an hour and a half. During your free comprehensive review, I will cover phonemic awareness, phonics, word work, vocabulary, and comprehension skills to discover the gaps and give you a full report and ideas on how to work together to get your child back on track with reading. The power of working with a 1-1 reading specialist is how quickly we can find the challenges holding your child back and address them while utilizing their specific learning style. Many students can catch up a whole grade level in 16-20 private sessions. It is worth the tailored reading approach I use rather than a large institution or program that will take less time to get to know your child and what engages them in learning.
